A UNHCR supporter enjoys writing messages to refugees

In the past three months (Mar-June 12), UNHCR has happily organized refugee games and drawing T-Shirt booths to most enjoyable and comfortable lifestyle shopping malls, Siam Paragon, The Nine Rama 9 and Major Avenue Ratchayothin. These events provided us opportunities to increase help to refugees and let them know that outside the closed camps, there are a lot of Thais who care about them. The messages come across our games about refugees and painting T-shirts.

At the event, many UNHCR supporters both donors and local people joined us to contribute their support to refugees both donation and writing encouraging messages to refugees who have lived in closed camps for more than 25 years to realize that they have Thai people who always care about them.

I am so glad to join the event, my dad worked a lot for refugees in his work and now I am one of UNHCR donors” Khun Gift, UNHCR donor.
